Dear Mr. Monty D. Hothersall,
My name is Dimitrios Colettis and I am professor at the Hellenic American University in Greece (http://www.hau.edu.gr) before that I was manager with large financial institutions where I gained 17 years of experience the most of them in financial planning. I have a B.S. in Business Management and a B.A.Economics and an MBA from the University of La Verne, California.
My vision is to encourage professionals to apply the financial planning methodology and to encourage the Greek market to become actively involved in planning for the financial future.
This year I persuaded the University to introduce for the first time a Financial Planning course for undergraduate students. Next academic year a similar course will be introduced for Graduate students too.
Along with other professionals from the financial industry we are also working for the creation of a Greek Financial Planning Association that will boost the concept of Financial Planning in Greece.
Our small market lucks of a Financial Planning software that will allow us to produce written financial reports. In fact the whole European area lucks from similar software applications. Recently I did a research in the Internet and found out that the Financial Fate was the best, friendly and more easy to use software in the market. In fact I encouraged all of my students to download FinancialFate in order to complete their given assignments.
FinancialFate has many elements of the US. tax code, social security benefits, etc build in the software and thus it is not applicable for persons who are not citizens of the U.S. On top of that there is also a lack of a print command for the Reports.
Along with some other colleagues we have form a team in order to realize the objective to introduce a Financial Planning software to the Greek market. We want to cover the academic and professional needs of our market.
In order to adapt this excellent piece of software in our local needs, let me know if you and your team are open to give us your JAVA source code of FinancialFate and the privilege to adapt it in our financial reality. That means elimination of USA 401 forms, translation in Greeks, ability to print etc.
We will be glad to cooperate with you and your team and willing to discuss your terms and conditions.
Sincerely
Dimitris Colettis
Professor of Business and Economics
